[edit] Regarding Naruto articles

"Support - Although I'm more used to the FN-GN usage of Naruto character names, this is Wikipedia policy. I'll defer to the official policies. Theres probably going to be a bunch of bitching from new users/anons, but I guess we can point them towards WP:MOS-JA. --GhostStalker 20:34, 2 August 2006 (UTC)"

But Naruto does NOT take place in modern day Japan. It takes place in a fictional world inspired by modern-day Japan. Since the characters are not in the MOS-JA name switching time period, let alone the same World, this argument goes out the window. (By the way the VIZ English manga uses Japanese order) WhisperToMe 21:27, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re:American Empire

This is based largely on info from the 2nd GiG article (hence the resemblence to the material already here), but some of it came off of various websites I have seen for the Gits. As for the map, I do believe that the lines drawn on it represent the countries of the world. Gits material has mentioned the European Union, so it stands to reason they operate under that entity internationally. Also keep in the mind that world wars do change boundry lines. As I make it the US and AE are seperate entities, but I will see if I can find some conclusive evidence of this to cite; failing this, I will see about having the article retooled or axed. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:17, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I added a new section to discuss the in series evidence for and against an independent AE and US. With thanksgiving break nearly upon us I may have time to really dig into this over the weekend, other wise this may and up on the back burner until after finals week. [edit] Reaction

Eh, you're having a better reaction to us having roughly the same name then most people do. I had a kid stalk me in an online game cause of it. Ya ever need anything, lemme know. I'd be funny as hell for the 2 of us to get involved in the same conversation and having people getting the names screwed up. Cheap, but dirty :D

[edit] Tainted poll?

Hi. Sorry to bother you. You participated in a television episode article naming poll which now lives at this location. Some feel that wording changes have compromised the results of that poll. If you don't mind, could you please take a look at what is there now and add a quick note at WT:TV-NC#Looking for anyone who objects to the last poll to say whether your feelings on the matter remain the same? Of course you can feel free to read over the entirety of both links for more information. Thanks. —Wknight94 (talk) 02:20, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ichigo edits

Please, feel free to correct any grammatical mistake you might see. You're right about english not being my first language, and that's the reason why I usually never rewrite entire paragraphs. But I know about Bleach, and that article was a mess. So correct my grammar, but please don't revert it as a whole, because that page will be a lot worse in terms of correct informations. [edit] Re: Barnes & Noble early manga releases

It seems... wrong, to me, that they'd be able to do that. I mean, isn't that what release dates are for? I know, it's a discussion for another time and place. Anyway, I've added comments to both volume counts in the Media section. Thanks for the suggestion! Nique talk 18:03, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] NYC meetup change of schedule

You've expressed an interest in the upcoming New York City Meetup for Saturday, November 3. I'd like to update you on an important change of schedule.

  • It's been agreed that we should have a 2-hour formal meeting period to start organizing meta:Wikimedia New York City, and this will be held at the Pacific Library (note this is different from the Brooklyn Central Library, which was discussed earlier) from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

This will be in addition to the previously scheduled roving activities at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden (this activity has also been cut short a bit) and at the Brooklyn Museum. For full details, see Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC. Ask any questions at Wikipedia talk:Meetup/NYC. Thank you.--Pharos 21:14, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hello badge

Hi. I made a Wiki Hello badge in case anyone's interested in using it for the Meetup. It's on the Meetup page. Nightscream 16:49, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hoax articles

Sure. It'll probably get removed since it was prodded once already. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 02:06, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Original research

Please stop adding OR back to the articles. Provide sources before doing so. Also, things like the connection of the name's translation to the character is original research. TTN (talk) 20:25, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Name

In short, this. Figured I might as well since I had been planning to at some point anyway. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 08:27, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
