- Aww thankyou Andre :) I was just thinking about my empty talk page and wondering if anyone would welcome me right at the moment you did just that :)) *feels the WikiLove*. My contributions are embarassingly gnomish as you can see :P GhostGirl 02:31, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, GhostGirl. I'll be glad to answer any questions you have, so don't hesitate to ask!
- As with many things on Wikipedia, there's no real standard when it comes to talk page messaging. I prefer to have only messages to me on my own talk page and messages directed at others on their respective talk pages. That way, you see a "you have new messages" header at the top of the page. However, some prefer to keep all the dialogue on one page and leave "I replied to our conversation"-esque messages on the other person's page; either way is fine.
- You're correct regarding new sections - use of the button is encouraged.
- Glad I could help. Andre (talk) 13:34, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] USS O'Brien
Hey, just wanted to stop by and say thank you for checking over USS O'Brien. You correctly identified my mistake when I said that she had sunk by kamikazes on 12 April 1945. It seems that in my hurry to add those destroyer pages I confused the O'Brien with USS Mannert L. Abele (DD-733), the ship that was indeed sunk on that date, and I likely edited these two pages at the same time. Thanks for spotting my error. -- Malo 03:08, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thankyou for the kind message :) When I made the edit I wondered which ship you meant when you said about the 12 April sinking - thanks for telling me. It's great work you've done, writing all these destroyer articles, I've become addicted to them now :P GhostGirl 06:57, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
"And wow I never thought I'd be talking about cameltoe on wikipedia" ROFLMAO!!!! I damn near died laughing when I read that. Thanks for the great laugh--and I agree with your points! Only runaway young male egos would assume women spend all day staring between their legs... in a mirror, apparently, unless you're all contortionists. Indy 00:17, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
