I didn't see much that wasen't on the Ghurids pages already... And some of it struck me as inaccurate- the Ghurids didn't conquer 'India' they ruled a part of it... Likewise for Persia, and I am unaware of them controlling even a part of Sinkiang... Anyway, 'tis quoted below anyway

Ghorids are people from Ghor province of Afghanistan. They are mostly Aimaqs but Tajiks also live there. Ghorid Empire was one of the biggest empires in Asia at one point in time, which had conquered countries like former India, Persia, Central Asia or Turkestan, Part Of Western China.

Ghor has many of ancient sites and is a great attraction for archeologists, but it still is one of Hundreds sites which are ancient such as Bamian, Ghazni, Balkh, Herat, Nimroz, Badakhshan, Kabul, Nangarhar, Kandahar and many other sites.
