Ghourghushti

Ghourghushti refers to the Pashtun sub-tribes that are descended from Ghorghusht, one of Qais Abdur Rashid's sons. According to Pashtun oral history, Ghourghusht had three son who were named ,Babai,Dani,Mando.
Below are some of the sub-tribes present today that claim descent from Ghorghusht:
Many of the people belonging to these sub-tribes reside in the Attock District of Pakistan, speak Hindko as opposed to Pashto as their mother tongue, as the predominant language is Hindko in the districts Attock and Hazara.
There is also a town called Ghorghushti founded by Anayat/Inayat Khel (the Khans), Kakar, Dilawar Khel and Matta Khel tribes (latter two have the same Progenitor). It is one of the largest town in Chach.
Unofficially the region encompassing Attock is called Chach, which is derived from the Pukhtu/Pushtu word Chaj and the Pashtuns living there are usually called Chach Pashtuns or simply Chachi. Chach Pashtuns are revered for their vicious fighting ability in ancient times and more recently for their many advancements in education, culture, and society.
