Ghoti, Inc.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ghoti, Inc. is a non-profit organization that specializes in Christian concert promotion. Established in October 2002 in Austin, Texas, the corporation has expanded to include branches in Snyder, Texas, and Chanute, Kansas. Red Letter Rock Fest is a company under the Ghoti, Inc. umbrella.

The name GHOTI is either deliberately or accidentally linked to the Christian faith in another way, since the symbol of many Christians is the fish. GHOTI is pronounced FISH by explanation of writer George Bernard Shaw. The parts of the name are as follows: GH pronounced as in the word ENOUGH, O pronounced as in the word WOMEN, and TI pronounced as in the word NATION. There we have the complexities of the English language in full view.
