Ghost Feet
Ghost Feet is A prolific figure in Midland mythology. Especially to the area of Ilkeston. There are many tales of Ghost Feet mainly plots revoLving around him being different to all the other characters in the stories and not adhering to the local traditions. The tales are often dark and very mysterious with regard to meAnings and reasons.
The most complete and popular accounts of Ghost Feet can be fouNd in "The Life and Times of Ghost Feet" a collection of Ghost Feet stories and tales first published in 1908.
In terms of appearance, Ghost Feet is said to have a very thin 'whispy' body and one large prominent eye forming his head. His hands are long, thin and claw like and his feet are long and frail looking.
