Ghost Banana Tree is one of the khmer success horror film based on Cambodia Haunting ghost story about A ghost woman climbs the banana tree to kill her husband in the Monk's house. It 's the Forth success horror film by Campro production after Neang Neath, The Forest and The Haunted House.

Sor,A Bravest Man in the village, married to a Beautiful woman named Nort who her grandmother is killed in a rubbery.After few months ago of their married, Sor is away from Nort because he has some business in another district. As Nort, now aways from her husband, so everything, she should to depends her self to do but,unfortunely,One evening,when Nort is cutting some branch to make the roof for cooking,she,suddenly,make a cut on her foot.She walks to home very upset.As now she can't do something,just stay at home with the fever and no eat or drink for few days until her father in law visit her and find out that she now in the great way to die, so he calls the docter and her neighbourhood to help her, but it still can't work as the fever grew stronger.Before she dies, Nort wish to see her husband for the last,her cousin,Ton,agree with her to find her husband but he doesn't.To lie Nort,he's just drive around the village and returns after two days later.He tells Nort that Sor now is leving with another woman and abandone Her.To her pain and broken heart,Nort begin has the big fever and spread a lot of bloods until she dies with her eyes still open.The Nort's funeral have prepared and a lot of people visit, but suddenly,Nort's body begin to get up.To everyone's shock and horror,everyone run aways and leave this funeral alone. From day to day,Nobody have look at or walk through nort's house because of her haunting.No ghost buster can't get rids her.One day Sor returns and go to live with Nort without no now she's dead.After living with her for long times,He suddenly discovers that his wife is the ghost when she make her arm longer to take the lemon.He runs to his father and ask him for help.his father invites a spirit doctor to help Sor.To Save Sor from Nort,The spirit doctor tells him to change his name as everyone should call him another name and take him to live in another place. After Sor leaves the village,Nort tries to find him by ask everyone as she stand on their house roof with her creepy loudly voice but she still can't find him. To stop her, everyone come to her house at daytime and pick her corpse that abandoned for long time (now has a lot of worm and get big) to bury under a mango tree. After that,there are no any haunting of Nort toward the villager. Many years later,Sor appears again in the villag with his another name,Chea.He suddenly meet Nort's cousin,Ton,sits on the mango's tree.To his hatred of Sor, He tells Sor to Gat some Mangos.When Sor getting the Mango,Ton said loudly with SOr's real name. Immediately, Nort's coffin, out of the ground and kills Ton.As Sor looks at htis event, he runs to the pagoda for help but Nort ghost still follows him. For escape for a moment,he hides himself in a Byemane tree,Nort can't go through because of the magic of Byemai tree.Sor learn that Nort afraid of Byemai tree so he cut some branch with him.when he arrived the Monk's house,he sit in there and pray to the god.Nort can't enter the house but suddenly she see a banana tree's leaf can get to the house's window so she climb the banana tree and enter the house. without Nort enter the house,Sor is killed by Nort in that time. In the end, their spirit hold each other hand and flying in the sky together.
