Ghindari or Makfalva (Romanian: Ghindari; Hungarian: Makfalva) is a commune in Mureş County, Romania comprising of 5 villages:

  • Abud/Székelyabod
  • Ceie/Cséje
  • Ghindari/Makfalva
  • Solocma/Szolokma
  • Trei Sate/Hármasfalu


  • In 2004, Chibed (Kibéd) broke away from Ghindari to form an independent commune.

The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 5,076 of which 97.75% or 2,068 are Hungarian.
