[edit] Dubious site

Today I noticed that the site http://www.ciuhandu.ro/ is used by spammers to get Paypal account details. The official sita have no content. I think the link should therefor be removed or replaced by the real site. I do not know the adress of the real site. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.231.39.254 (talk • contribs) 9 May 2006.

I've removed the link to the dubious site. - Jmabel | Talk 22:45, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Uncommented removal

Can someone explain what was going on here: (removed "in 2005, supported the group's transformation into the Christian-Democratic People's Party") and rv if appropriate? - Jmabel | Talk 18:50, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

I suppose the main reason for that was that the party went back to its old name, and the user did not know if the link was appropriate any more. In any case, if kept, it would need extra information - but we have to decide first where to link which party, which we still haven't reached an agreement on. The party, whatever its legacy and name is, is quickly fading into complete obscurity, and I did not look into where Ciuhandu stood on the more recent issues; given this, I chose not to add back the sentence for now (it would have involved me or others researching these things through, and I personally kept postponing it - for one, because the article on the party itself deserves a major and through contribution to match its past importance; what I would actually like to do is a comprehensive article on Poporanism, the origin of peasantist doctrine and a very interesting article on its own). In short, I don't think the user meant to hide Ciuhandu's attitude: I can understand that, given the back and forth movements of the party, that sentence was merely confusing, and it could easily be added back once we decide on terminology. For now, I see every edit on this series of pages as provisional. Dahn 23:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
