[edit] Polygonal number
I have reverted [1] your edits to Polygonal number because they appeared false, at least as stated. If you want to readd the formula then please explain its connection to Polygonal numbers better. PrimeHunter (talk) 01:38, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- Your edits to Polygonal number made claims about rows in Pascal's triangle. Pascal's triangle#The diagonals is about diagonals. That section doesn't claim the numbers are polygonal, and they aren't. For example, the 5th diagonal is pentatope numbers but not pentagonal numbers. And your claim that the s'th n-gonal number is the same as the n'th s-gonal number is clearly wrong. Just look at the table values in Polygonal number. I get the impression you don't know what polygonal numbers are and confuse them with binomial coefficients or something from simplex. PrimeHunter (talk) 02:52, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
