Gharibabad is one of the neighborhoods of Malir Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
There are several ethnic groups in Malir Town including Urdu speakers, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochs, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Malir Town is estimated to be nearly one million.Gharibabad is one of the most drug sellers and pedelers area, where usage and sell of drugs and weapons is common.There are at about fifteen children under the age of fifteen, who use to sell drugs.Yousif Rind, Nisar Rind, Riaz Rind, Anwar Baloch, Ameer Bux Baloch, Rasool Bus Baloch and two ladies Zarina and Sakina Baloch are prominent drug sellers here in Gharibabad.
