The Surname of Ghanchi are mostly found in Gujarat, India and also places like Pakistan and England. Ghanchi's originate from Gujarat. The name is derived from their businesses of oil milling. Ghanchi's have expanded into other business like dairy farming, fast food, computing, telecommunications, masonary, and other health services. The majority of Ghanchi's are mostly found in Ahemdabad the heart of all the Ghanchi. More are found at Ghanch, Saurashtra, Amreli, Bagasra, Bilkha, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, and more many places are other than the Gujrat district e.g. Kalol and Kadi. That two cities are the main residence of the Ghanchi community.
