Ghadir Ghroof-Gharid

Ghadir Ghroof-Gharid (born 1990 or 1991) is a Palestinian sprint athlete. She will be participating in the 100 meter sprint at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She is the only woman of four Palestinian athletes — two runners, two swimmers — who are going to take part in the Olympics of this year. The other runner is Nader al-Masri.

Ghroof-Gharid is currently training in Jericho, with almost no athletic facilities. She trains on a surface of clay.[1]
