[edit] Shinespark

Would a screenshot from Metroid Fusion referring to the speed-powered move as "Shinespark" count as a citeable reference? http://mdb.classicgaming.gamespy.com/m4/mfnavtrick05.gif Kouban 00:43, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

No. That only illustrates that the Metroid series has a movement called the Shinespark. That doesn't say anything about the purported link between Getter Robo and Metroid. A citeable reference for this fact would be one from, say, an interview with one of the Metroid developers that specifically mentions that Metroid's Shinespark move was based on or inspired by the move in Getter Robo. Otherwise, it can't be reliably proven that it's more than just coincidence, and that qualifies as Original Research. :/ — KieferSkunk (talk) — 07:04, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
