"Getaway" (in most original releases the song is spelled this way, not "Get Away"[1]) is a #1 single for Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames. It topped the UK singles chart in July 1966 for one week, and was the second number one for Georgie Fame, who would mark his final #1 single at the beginning of 1968 with The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde.
