Get Up On It is Keith Sweat's fourth album.
Sweat was arguably at his best with this album. Fairly decent material and no filler is what Get Up On It really is. Keith's slow songs are still infectious and Keith's voice adapt to the songs very well. Favorites off this album are "How Do You Like It" featuring a rap verse by the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC, the kinky slow jam "It Gets Better", and "Put Your Lovin' Through the Test" featuring the late Roger Troutman of Zapp.
The album is probably the most underrated of Sweat's discography because of it being up against some of the best rock and metal music of the decade. It turns out that Keith Sweat was at his best when he was writing and producing his own songs.
