- I asked the user to stop doing this, as this creates more work and less fun for translators. Kusma (talk) 05:24, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

- Notability question - is Florian Pfaff notable? Thanks, Andjam 07:32, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- The German article was listed as a possible candidate for deletion but they decided (with no "delete" votes) to keep it. He was on TV and the case was well-known. Saint|swithin 08:36, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Aleturkish has been re-created after being deleted under PROD, so now it's up at AFD. Angr (talk • contribs) 22:34, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- A request has been initiated to move Stephansdom to St Stephen's Cathedral (or, more probably, St Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna). The discussion is at Talk:Stephansdom. --Stemonitis 15:04, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thomas Eller---I found this untranslated article while working on candidates for speedy deletion. I do not know German so I don't have any idea whether or not it is worthy of translation. Thanks. youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 14:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy deleted as copyvio (it was lifted wholesale from another website). —Angr 14:43, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Requested merges
- Should German studies and Germanistics be merged?
- Somebody has renamed Germanistics to German (studies), which doesn't really make sense, especially if the articles aren't merged.
- I've moved German (studies) to German studies. Germanistics now gets redirected there too. Saint|swithin 07:49, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Active polls relating to Germany-related articles:
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/West Germany national football team was deleted as Germany national football team covers the history of the DFB team from 1908 to present (there were people claiming that West Germany and Germany were/are two different states and teams). Similar issues still under discussion regarding Olympic teams Germany at the Summer Olympics, West Germany at the Summer Olympics, United Team of Germany
- Ongoing poll and discussion about a new naming convention at User_talk:Elonka/Hungarian-Slovakian_experiment#Proposed_naming_convention. Please take a look. Squash Racket (talk) 06:36, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Terminology check requested
- Leipheim. Made an attempt to translate from the German article, but it would be good if someone with a profound knowledge of history terms could check it over.
- Hi there. I just wrote an article on Tawfiq Canaan, a Palestinian physician who married the daughter of a German importer and who wrote a number of articles on medicine and folklore in German, English and Arabic. I need help with the German names, which in the digital versions of his work are missing accents and characters. Your assistance in properly representing the German in the article would be deeply appreciated. Tiamat 08:32, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Heinrich Göbel. See much larger German article.-- Matthead Discuß 02:32, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
