[edit] Speedy deletion of Advanced searchbar
A tag has been placed on Advanced searchbar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion G11.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Advanced searchbar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - I know this seems like extra bureaucracy but the {{hangon}} tag is for articles nominated for speedy deletion, not for articles nominated for proposed deletion via the {{prod}} tag. To contest the proposed deletion, simply remove the {{prod}} tag from the article page. However, doing so simply terminates the proposed deletion process which is kind of an intermediate step between speedy deletion and deletion via the WP:AFD process. It does not keep editors from nominating the article for deletion via the AFD process.
- If it had been me, I wouldn't have bothered with the {{prod}} tag as a quick look at the edit history and this Talk Page would have indicated there would be an objection from User:Gerry Odea.

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button 
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 13:32, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Advanced searchbar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
This has been marked for speedy deletion before; the problems noted then are still in existence. [edit] License tagging for Image:Advancedsearchbar.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Advancedsearchbar.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
