[edit] Revert of addition on Robert de Sorbon
Hi Gerovital1, Welcome to Wikipedia. I hope that you have been enjoying your experience here. Regarding your edit on Robert de Sorbon [1] This appears to me to be adding reference to an unaccredited institution to the article. Therefore, I reverted your addition to the article. Please be more careful in the future with your edit. Thank you, Bill Huffman 20:01, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I removed a link to unaccredited institution in an article you added
Hi again Gerovital1, I note that here [2] you added an article with a link to an unaccredited institution in it that is called a diploma mill by Inside Higher Education. I have removed your link to the questionable institution. Please do not add links to the website to this unaccredited institution to Wikipedia. This seems to be your only interest on Wikipedia editing and I am going to investigate if there's some way that I can report this suspicious behavior. Please see WP:COI Regards, Bill Huffman 20:24, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
So, this appears to me to be the proper way to handle this.
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked without further warning.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. Bill Huffman 20:54, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Another of your Wikipedia edits
Hi again Gerovital1, you created this article Universite_de_Wallis. I wanted to let you know that when you initially created the article you had neglected to mention that the institution is unaccredited. I personally would consider that the most important fact about the place. I have corrected your initial oversight. Regards, Bill Huffman 20:46, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:BlazonUW.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:BlazonUW.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:07, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Advertisements for an unaccredited institution is considered vandalism
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to VAE_(Validation_des_Acquis_de_l'Experience), you will be blocked from editing.
Here's the edit I'm referring to. [3] Wikipedia does not allow advertisements in the articles, especially advertisements for an unaccredited school that is called a diploma mill by Inside Higher Education. Please stop. Bill Huffman 15:33, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of tag on VAE article
The VAE article is very rough and needs to be properly translated into English. Your removal of the tag marking that fact was not helpful. Please refrain. --Orange Mike 23:34, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 14:34, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
