[edit] Chronology of the kings

According to article, "his chronology contrasts with those presented by the more traditional William F. Albright or Edwin R. Thiele." I hope someone will explain how Galil differs in his chronology. BTW, no I'm not picking on Galil; I hope the same is done for Albright & Thiele. However, when I turned to this article, I was hoping to find an explanation of how Galil -- whom I presume is Jewish (or at least is sympathetic towards a Jewish POV) -- differs from two Protestant scholars. -- llywrch 03:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

I support the above suggestion. The dates supposedly given by Galil for the reigns in some of the articles in Wikipedia overlap markedly, e.g.
This makes no sense to me. The dates from Albright & Thiele stated in the same articles run sequentially. Has someone been spoofing the Galil dates? If there's no response here, I'll ask for help -- someone must have access to his book -- otherwise the above dates should be deleted. - Fayenatic london (talk) 19:19, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
In all honesty, I am not sure where I got the Galil dates. It is in the days before I sources succession lists and looking back, I wish I had. I didn't quite understand the dates either, but many of the dates were already on the pages and I just adapted them. That's all I can really say. I think I did those dates because of the Jewish POV, but once again, I am not sure. Please remove them if they don't make sense or follow actual research. I created his Wiki page for the mere purpose of removing red links from pages. The info on him I got from the website provided.
