"Gertrude Press" is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 to showcase and develop the creative talents of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer-identified, and allied individuals. They also publish a fiction and poetry chapbook through an annual contest. In addition to creative writing and interviews with writers such as Eloise Klein Healy, the publication features works of various genres and mediums including photography, painting, and mixed media. "Gertrude Press" is based in Portland, Oregon.
