Gerry McNee

Gerald "Gerry" McNee is a Scottish football journalist, who made his name in the Scottish football press with the Scottish Daily Express and The Daily Star in the 1970's. Was also a frequent panellist on Radio Clyde's football phone-in Super Scoreboard.

McNee has also written several books including a biography of Celtic Legend Jimmy McGrory as well as an appraisal of the John Wayne movie The Quiet Man.

Currently combines occasional appearances on STV's Scotsport where he was previously a commentator with a weekly newspaper column in the Scottish edition of News of the World.
