Gerola Alta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 70 km northeast of Milan and about 25 km southwest of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 230 and an area of 38.3 km².[1]
Gerola Alta borders the following municipalities: Averara, Bema, Cusio, Introbio, Ornica, Pedesina, Premana, Santa Brigida, Valtorta.
