Germanies

The Germanies may refer to:
- the varying number (1200-1800) of hereditarily held Germanic states of the Holy Roman Empire ruled by one or another German Princes or Prince-Electors.

- Many modern Germanic place names in Central and North-western Europe are successor regions to such states, and share an identical name. Many of these have nearly the same borders.
- German Confederation and its states before they formed the German Empire
- The Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic, West & East Germany
