The 8th German federal election of November 1932 (Weimar Republic) saw support for the Nazi Party dip slightly due to increased support for the KPD and DNVP, but remained the most popular party to date. With the nation clearly divided into two extremes, Hitler would be appointed Chancellor by President Hindenburg almost three months later, on January 30th, 1933.
