The German International School Boston, often referred to as GISBOS, was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
GISBOS is a private school, which educates students from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade.

On November 15, 2001 the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Johannes Rau, formally inaugurated the school. More than 100 students were inscribed Sept. 2007, when the school moved from Cambridge to Allston.
