The German Baptist Church is located at Walnut & Liberty Streets in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, in Cincinnati, Ohio. German Baptists built this red brick church in 1866. Cincinnati was an important center of German Baptist activity until the outbreak of World War I. After the U.S. entered the war in 1917, services in German ceased and the Germans joined the American Baptists.
