Gerald McMorrow is a director and writer who wrote and directed the short film Thespian X (2002) and is writing and directing the upcoming 2008 science fiction film Franklyn.

Gerald McMorrow studied at the New York Film School. He directed music video clips for artists including Catatonia, The Longpigs, Ultrasound, My Vitriol, Tom Jones, and Cerys Matthews. McMorrow has also produced commercials for D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Lowe Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, and WCRS Radio, winning Creative Circle and British Television Advertising Awards.[1]
McMorrow then directed the short film Thespian X (2002), which won the Turner Classic Short Film Festival prize at the London Film Festival in 2002.[2] He also wrote and directed the upcoming science fiction film Franklyn, starring Ryan Phillippe and Eva Green.
