Gerald Eckert

Gerald Eckert (born December 27, 1960 in Nuremberg) is a German composer, cellist, and painter. He currently lives in Eckernförde.

He originally studied physics at Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlangen-Nuremberg. He began studying cello and piano at the conservatory in 1985. He also studied composition starting in 1989. He has won the "Kranichstein-Preis" and the "Stuttgarter Kompositionspreises."
