Gerald Davis (contemporary artist)

Gerald Davis (born 1974) is an artist based in Los Angeles.
Davis was born in Pittsburgh. His paintings and drawings are delicately rendered in oil paint and pencil, using muted, almost monochrome, colours.[1] His work deals with his memories of childhood trauma, sexuality and desire.[2]
He received his BFA from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1999.
