[edit] Glasgow Magic Circle

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Glasgow Magic Circle, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://homepage.ntlworld.com/g.colvan/GMC_main/brief_history.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:46, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, on Wikipedia:Copyright problems you wrote:

As the site web master and the club president I have permission to reproduce any infomation held on the site as you can see from the URL the site is hosted on my web space at NTLworld.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.6.79.200 (talkcontribs) 15:34, 28 January 2008

You need permission to release the content under the GFDL, our site license. It isn't enough that you alone have permission--you must give everybody permission to use the material as they see fit, under the license. If you have this permission, please see Wikipedia:Confirmation of permission#When_permission is confirmed on how to inform the Communications Committee of this. Be aware that in granting this permission the copyright holder is consenting to a very broad range of uses of the material by parties who have no connection with your organisation or Wikipedia. --Tony Sidaway 08:00, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
