The World According To Ronald Reagan. A Finnish satirical poster from 1984, the peak of the Second Cold War, by the Finnish publishing house Finnreklama Oy. Some claim that the original design should be attributed to David Horsey. I don't care who first designed it. My appreciation of it is based simply upon personal taste, and my view of the world. And its a bloody good poster. Now what's needed is a version dedicated to George W.Bush and his departed sidekick Rummy. It would need to find space for Irak, Iran, NORK, and an enlarged two-part Europe, Old Europe and New Europe.
I am a native speaker of English English (the Scots, Welsh and Irish have their own languages).
My sense of humour is best summed-up by an illustration, and no other illustration adequately represents my tastes as this example does, also found at [1]
The motto of my former regiment roughly translates from the Latin into English as: "Don't mess with me, boyo."
