[edit] Areas of expertise

I know something about geology and geophysics, so you'll often find edits of mine on such pages. I also try to edit pages that have problems and that I know something about. However, if I do botch something, let me know!

[edit] WikiProject: Earth Sciences?

I am pondering the need for an earth sciences WikiProject. I don't know if I want to be a project leader, though... I haven't yet put an entry on Wikipedia:Wikiproject/List of proposed projects. Right now, this is just musing. More to come. User:GeoGreg

[edit] Template:Cascade volcanoes

I have created a new template for all of the active volcanoes in the Cascade Range. I have added this template to each of the relevant articles. If you see a problem, please leave a message at my talk page. User:GeoGreg 00:27, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Etc

PLEASE NOTE: If you have any messages for me, please leave them on User_talk:GeoGreg rather than blanking out this page! Thank you!

Note regarding Rennes-le-Château, Bérenger Saunière, Priory of Sion, and related pages: I have done some cleanup editing on these pages. Please note that I don't believe a word of Holy Blood, Holy Grail and haven't since I read it 15 years ago. However, Wikipedia does need to at least acknowledge that there are people who do believe it. Please keep this in mind when you are editing, no matter what your viewpoint (see WP:NPOV, particularly the section "A consequence: writing for the enemy").

I've recently (Nov. 2004) been doing some work on Col. William Clark Falkner, great-grandfather of William Faulkner. I've written an article and added links to it from several related articles. I'm interested in this because (1) I like Faulkner's writing and (2) I have ancestors remotely connected with Col. Falkner. See Sartoris, Falkner, Mississippi, and Ripley, Mississippi for some of my additions.

I've created an article on Doctor Who producer John Nathan-Turner, using mostly web-based sources.

I've greatly expanded the article on Reflection seismology.

The article on mantle (geology) needs some work, which I intend to do.

Some internet links on sugar, for reference

[edit] Licensing

I have added the "NoMultiLicense" template because I don't currently see a good reason for doing it. It seems like it will just create a legal morass. However, I might change my mind in the future.
