This extraordinary course was my first introduction to golf. We lived on the large sand hill to the northeast of the George Wright, and used to sneak onto the course as kids to avoid paying the $4 or so greens fees.
The clubhouse is absolutely not to be believed, the closest thing to a Norman Castle I have seen in North America.
