[edit] Copied fm main article

I spun this out from the main George Washington article. Maurreen 23:00, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Good job. I'll try to shorten the French and Indian War section of Washington's article. --Nishkid64 01:12, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge

There seems to be no point in having this article. It contains almost nothing which is not already in the main George Washington article, and the corresponding section of the main article is no shorter than this one. Since the purpose of this article was apparently to make the main one shorter (see above), and nothing has been done about it in over a month, I propose to merge and redirect. I doubt that very much of this material can be removed from the main article anyway without making that section too uninformative. Richard75 16:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I'm sure some dedicated user who has a talent for writing in summary style could accomplish that. One will come along. -Fsotrain09 17:16, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Before in the history there was almost no evidences of what happened in the past. there was no information. But these days there is too much information every where you go you see George Washington born in different cities.

[edit] Historical Innaccuracy

When it states in the article that he resigned after the battle at Fort Necessity, this is a complete historical innaccuracy Washinton would go on to fight in the war for several more years. Could Sombody please fix this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.46.24.46 (talk) 22:01, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
