West Virgina Rt 7 is the George Washington Highway in West Virginia. US 50 is the Northwestern Turnpike. Only the state of Maryland in Garrett County recognizes US 50 as the George Washington Highway. The state of West Virginia has places "Northwestern Turnpike" signs along US 50. --71Demon 20:24, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
