Talk:George Noory

The quotes make him sound like an idiot and disturbed man. I think this should be changed. --Zeerus 17:57, Apr 14, 2005 (UTC)
There should be more about george here than this.
They claimed that Christopher Colombus was an idiot or a disturbed man when he said that the Earth was round as opposed to flat. What I'm trying to point out is that the article clearly states that he 'claimed' to have traveled back in time. Since he did 'claim' to, that claim can be taken as fact. Whether or not he actually traveled through time is not the issue, it's the fact that he made the claim. (No User Info)
The final paragraph that describes Noory's show where he claims to be Dexter Monterrey does not contain any context and could be perceived as a swipe at the host. Since he did in fact make that claim, it would certainly be inappropriate to completely remove the information. I have added additional details that will hopefully eliminate any perception of POV in the article without removing information. I have also clarified the "cave" claim, as I see that it was a source of confusion before. --dtony 00:34, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
About the quotes, they should reference the date of the shows he said them on. (Pwnage8 02:41, 5 April 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Hosting from a cave
I thought he was serious when he said he sometimes hosts from inside a cave. He even talked about this little cricket that kept pestering him. Are you guys sure it's not true? Boy do I feel foolish if it isn't - especially since I've been listening to the show since 1992!
[edit] Supports Gun Rights
George recently stated to a caller in the show's 4th hour (on Open Lines) (Tuesday, February 13, 2007), in response to the recent mall shooting, that he supports gun rights, more specifically, the right for citizens to carry concealed weapons. I don't know where this would appropriately placed in the article, any ideas? Jay 23:07, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Coast2coastL noory b&w s.jpg
Image:Coast2coastL noory b&w s.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
