Do we really know that McFly's favorite show is MST3K? How? —Preceding unsigned comment added by User:24.4.217.200 (talk • contribs) 22:48, 29 September 2004
- You must be mistaken. George in 1955 says that his favorite show is Science Fiction Theater. He was going to forgo the dance just so he wouldn't miss it; obviously, "Darth Vader" helped him to change his mind. --Dynamite Eleven 03:00, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Timelines
The timeline stuff is sure to be confusing to someone who does not know about the movies. Perhaps there should be an explaination about the time travel in or near the intro? --OGoncho 10:57, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] George's biography
Can the sections for the three films be reinstated? It keeps the page consistent with the other character pages, plus breaking it up into the three films makes easier reading and reference in my opinion. Also, replacing the three sections with "Biography" was not really discussed in the talk page.
At the very least we should have a discussion about it?

- I'm hoping to rewrite the other pages to follow this format. The division into three movies was unnecessary IMO. Aside from Marty and Doc, no character has a major role in all three movies, so the three-movie division invariably ends up with one or more sections containing practically no text. This very page is a good example of it: previously, the Part II section was very short (and included information unrelated to the events in Part II, such as Grover's contract negociation), while the Part III section contained only one sentence about Part III and a second one about the Animate Series. -- Ritchy 22:24, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationales
[edit] for Image:George 2015.JPG
Image:George 2015.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:57, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Are George and Lorraine cousins
For Lorraine Baines to look so much like Maggie Mcfly, they are probably related by blood. This means that it is very likely that either:
- One of Lorraine's grandparents was one of Maggie's children, making George McFly and Lorraine second cousins.
- One of Lorraine's great-grandparents was one of Maggie's siblings, making George and Lorraine third cousins.
- One of Lorraine's great-great-grandparents was one of Maggie's parents, making George and Lorraine fourth cousins.
Without a source this is of course speculation, but was such a thing discussed somewhere citeable?
I also posted this at Talk:Lorraine Baines McFly#Are George and Lorraine cousins, and any responses are probably more appropriate there. —MJBurrage(T•C) 18:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
