George Gaynes was born in Helsinki, but I doubt that he is actually Finnish. His mother's brother Gregory Gaye was Russian-born and Gerrit Jongejans must be Dutch. Propably George just "happened to born" in Helsinki. --Tbonefin 17:44, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wife-beater?

Personally, I don't believe it...nor do most people I've read about through google (trying to find more info)...but have a read of http://www.teevee.net/archive/1997/01/06/index.html and it suggests he "would go on to play a filthy wife-beating drunkard in real life?"

Anyone reading this talk page should regard this as a *rumour* and not even consider it as true, I'm just adding the information as found online...he *really* isn't the sort and if he was his wife wouldn't have been with him for 50 years :-) SmUX 12:48, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
