[edit] Disambig
I think the explorer Bass is by far the most prominent of the two men shown. See "what links here" for a start. I propose to move him back and put a see also to the second. -- Kevin Ryde 00:52, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bass's three expeditions
I am interested in doing three seperate entries for each of the expeditions Bass took part in. Perhaps The route of the Tom Thumb expedition ??// The route of the Norfolk expedition??. But what would could you call the second trip in the unnamed 'gunboat' and probably the most famous of the three? Please any ideas?. Lentisco 03:47, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good Question. In the interim since August the WP:AH has been set up. A few guidelines for naming these artciles is shown at [1]. Please refer to this as a guide. As a default the name would be Bass voyage of 1797 for the 'gunboat' voyage, and Bass voyage of 1798. Hope this helps. PS If you are interested in helping out with more exploration related articles or history subjects the link above will take you to a near exhaustive list of notable (as well as some that are less notable)expeditions. Feel free to go at it. SauliH 04:25, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Section disappearances
I added some things to this article on 3/6/08 but the sections "Final Voyage" and "Speculation on Bass's Fate" seem to have disappeared. It wasn't my intention to delete them. If I have, inadvertently, I hope someone puts them back. Peter Entwisle. Peter Entwisle (talk) 10:33, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've put them back. You ended a reference with "<ref>" instead of </ref>" which caused half the article to be in footnote 2. Not to worry, I've fixed it. I've also added a section to this page - you can do that by clicking on the "New section" link. Graham87 12:15, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
