[edit] Geometric invariant theory (book)
It seems that this article is almost exclusively devoted to description of Mumford's classic book, not the theory per se, and certainly, not in its modern form. Would it make sense to split the article in two and treat GIT separately from David Mumford, Geometric invariant theory, 1965? Arcfrk 06:04, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, the reason it is from the GIT book is that I have the book, and I don't know much about the later theory. I find Mumford's insights very interesting, always. But it would be natural just to add more sections updating it all. Charles Matthews 21:08, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
