"Many of the latter rivers now have clysts on them to control the sea,". What is a clyst? I'm sure the writer meant sluice, but I'm not even sure that is the right term, and wonder if they meant a word similar to clyst? --Derek Andrews 12:53, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
