This is a serious project to describe adequately the geology of a whole continent, so bear with. You *could* tag this for cleanup, but thats disingenuous because as far as I know I'm the only aussie geologist on wikipedia so you could be honest and just ask me to add bits in. So, that's why this may take a little while to get finished and spruced up to the "high" level exemplified b othergeology articles on wikipedia.

I will also attempt to get a few of the sedimentary basins fleshed out, and tackle the list of Australian orogenies, although, once again, some of these are significant and complex events, so there will be a significant amount of work, especially in referencing these things, secifically for ones which I am not entirely familiar with at this stage.
