[edit] potentially usable photo?

I've only ever seen one photo of the man, and it's this one: [1] His face isn't visible, unfortunately, but the skirt at least is. In any case, I think it should be public domain due to its age.

Thanks have uploaded.LordHarris 01:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

I don't see any reason to keep this - it is a less-detailed version of the other page. Eran of Arcadia 13:06, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

I disagree, a merger would cause the loss of biographical information. This is a biographical article of an officer in the Royal Navy. Only half of the article mentions the east africa campagins - there are large sections on his early life and later life and therefore he deserves an article. The mimi and toutou page is about a book, not a person. Furthermore the east africa campaign article is about a conflict, not about a person. LordHarris 13:31, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
I actually was referring to the Spicer-Simson article, not the book (which is clearly separate) but put it on the wrong talk page. Eran of Arcadia 13:52, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh, sorry! You also forgot to put a merge tag on this article. You have to place a merge tag on both articles (ive just done it for this one). I agree with the merge. Its been up since Feb and now has three supports. I think its safe to say you can go ahead and merge it. LordHarris 15:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
