FYI, an article by this name was deleted twice before: [1]. It certainly seems notable to me. Here are some news links from Google. —Fleminra 20:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. It's the same person doing it, too. I'm convinced that someone has a beef with GeoEye. On the other hand, I believe we need to properly organize this article. Aviation Week & Space Technology's source book that was just sent out has some good info, and I plan to incorporate that info and clean up the formatting. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 21:02, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, it is kind of sad that the bird has a better page than the company! I've added some stuff to the article to make it look more like a wiki page is supposed to, but the Company Infobox REALLY needs some help. I'll fill in some more tonight if I can. --Mdwyer 21:35, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've filled it in and fluffed up the article quite a bit more. I think it would survive a deletion request, now.
- It would be nice to attach a sample of their imagery to the article -- especially the one that shows a picture of their Thornton ground station from space -- but I don't want to have to explain to their lawyers that I want one of their pictures for free. --Mdwyer 05:24, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
