Georgio

Georgio Allentini is an african american funk and dance music singer/songwriter/keyboardist/guitarist from San Francisco California. He goes by the stage name Georgio. In 1987 he had several songs chart on the Hot 100, although none climbed any higher than #58. He was much more successful on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, where he earned four Top 10 hits, including "Tina Cherry," which hit #1.
Recently, Georgio has made the transition to filmmaker with the 2003 release "Tapped Out", which also starred Coolio, Alex Avant, and Jimmy Bridges. The film was written, co-produced, and co-directed by Georgio, who also composed music for its soundtrack. He also worked at MIG Records. Kasan Butcher
