Georgiana Maxwell, 27th Baroness de Ros
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Georgiana Angela Maxwell, 27th Baroness de Ros (née Ross) (1933–1983) succeeded her grandmother Una Ross after the title was called out of abeyance in her favor in 1958.
The 27th Baroness was the daughter of Lieutenant-Commander Peter Ross RN, who himself was the eldest son of the 26th Baroness. Georgiana married Commander John David Maxwell of the Royal Navy in 1954 and they had at least two children:
- The Honourable Diana Elizabeth Maxwell (born 1957)
- Peter Trevor Maxwell (born 1958), who is the current holder of the title.
