[edit] Visa-free travel

Visa-free travel or visa on arrival is available for several different destinations. It is estimated that as of February 2008, Georgian citizens are able to enter 58 countries visafree or visa on arrival is available.

Due to enlargements of the EU since 2004, Georgian citizens lost visa free movement in several former Communist states, which previously permitted visa-free entry such as Romania and Bulgaria. EU candidate and potential candidate states like Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia have also revoked visa-free travel, however, the Georgian government is working to resolve this situation.
