Georgia State Route 61 is a series of streets, roads and highways that form a mostly rural route in the western part of the state of Georgia connecting the cities of Carrollton, Villa Rica, Dallas, and Cartersville. The route's northern terminus is at the Tennessee state line north of Chatsworth. It's southern terminus is just north of the city of Carrollton at Georgia State Route 166. From the city of Cartersville to the Tennessee state line, this route overlaps U.S. 411.
