State Route 34 begins just west of Franklin at the Georgia-Alabama line and ends at Floy Farr Parkway (S.R. 54) in Peachtree City. Currently, between S.R. 154 (just east of Newnan) and S.R. 74, S.R. 34 and S.R. 54 are being widened to a four-lane parkway (this project is now complete). Its Bypass is Georgia State Route 34 Bypass
